FRP gratings are manufactured with the RTM technology, using polyester resins reinforced with glassfibres.
The gratings are designed with a high “safety factor” and manufactured under strict inspections; they are supplied with antiskid surface "meniscus type" . On demand they can be supplied with the following characteristics:
• fire resistant (according to several norms)
• with covered surface
• antiskid with quarz sand
• flat surface
Different thermosetting resins (isophtalic, vynilester or other resins) are available accordingly to the speicific installation enviroment. They are mainly used as gangways, trench covers, scrubber gratings, electrical protection panels, steps and others.
